About
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, living with my father, mother and Cuban grandparents, I learned both Spanish and English while growing up. After finishing my undergrad degrees in Finance and Spanish at Arizona State, I entered corporate finance for a year only to realize that my passion was in teaching, learning, traveling and exploring. Following my passion, I joined Hunterdon Central High School in New Jersey and began teaching Spanish and exploring foreign countries every chance I could get. In traveling I have developed a curiosity and deep affinity for the Amazon Jungle and all of its treasures such as holistic medicine and tropical fish.
After four years in Education, I finished my Masters in Educational Leadership with Principal Certification, and began teaching at The College of New Jersey as an adjunct professor at night while still teaching high school during the day. Every since I was a kid, thanks to my dad, I have always been interested in and proficient with computers so as a teacher I have developed a niche in integrating the latest web technologies into my students’ learning. In the near future I plan to apply to Ph.D programs in Educational Technology around the world. I crave a new adventure. Who knows where life will take me next?
