Jon Pennington is educational leader with eight years of teaching in both the private and public sector as well as in higher education. He is native speaker of Spanish and English experienced in orchestrating international student exchange programs and facilitating networked learning. As a teacher, he creates cohesive 21st century learning environments while mentoring students in the intelligent use of effective educational technologies to better acquire the skills they need to succeed.

Backing Jon’s understanding of teaching and learning is a background in collaboration and leadership.  He holds an MA. in Educational Leadership and Principal Certification.  He has also taken a leadership role on several educational technology committees  and has delivered dozens of presentations in the area of educational technology over the past several years, skills that are enhanced by his role as an advisory board member of Bright Bytes, an educational organization that improves school’s use of technology.
